Our Beloved Masjid

Do you know the last public place that the Messenger of Allah was seen? He was seen in the Masjid. About 3 days before he passed away, Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) was leading the prayer and the Masjid was full with an Ummah of men and women prepared to illuminate the world with their Jihad and da'wah. The Prophet's house opened up to the Masjid and there was a curtain separating his room and the prayer hall. He opened the curtain and saw the congregation and saw his Khalifah Abu Bakr (RadiAllahu Anhu) leading the prayer.

The Advice of Al-Habîb ‘Umar bin Hafîz

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the sentient beings, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger and upon his family and companions.

TRYING TO BE SOMETHING WE ARE NOT..!

'Given my privilege as a woman, I only degrade myself by trying to be something I'm not -- and in all honesty -- don't want to be: a man. As women, we will never reach true liberation until we stop trying to mimic men, and value the beauty in our own God-given distinctiveness.'
On March 18, 2005 Amina Wadud led the first female-led Jumuah (Friday) prayer. On that day women took a huge step towards being more like men. But, did we come closer to actualizing our God given liberation? I Don't think so.

Our Dilemma is a strange one...we live in Europe outside Europe.(2)

Salam Alaikom wa rahamatullah

Here is the same topic again in its second episode, inshallah. What I addressed in Jumuah was that we need to first set our priorities. Do we need this life only? We seek to have the life hereafter, don't we? If we are hoping to get to Jannah in the Aakhirah which I believe every single one of us hopes, then we have to listen to what Allah, our Creator and his final messanger, peace and blessings be upon him, who clearly says:

Our Dilemma is a strange one...we live in Europe outside Europe.(1)

Our dilemma is a strange one. We live in Europe outside Europe. We need to realise that we have a role to play and a duty to fulfill as a parent before it  is too late.
