Prayer

Al-Furqan is open for all five of the daily prayers. During daytime, the main prayer hall can be used for reading the Qur'an and quiet contemplation. It can accommodate over 600 people, including space dedicated just for women.

Religious Advice & Counselling

Muslims turn to Al-Furqan for help and advice in all aspects of their lives. Al-Furqan has experienced Imams to advise and counsel on the concerns of the community such as bereavement, cultural challenges, youth issues and matrimonial problems.

New Muslim Advice & Support

As an increasing number of people find out about Islam, many decide to convert. Some face difficulties from friends and family who may disown them. Al-Furqan provides advice, support and friendship. We have an informal meeting every Wednesday at 1 Martha Street between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, so that you can learn to pray, read the Qur'an and perform the other duties that a Muslim is required to perform. Marriage Solemnisation

Family life is the building block of a successful society, and marriage is an occasion of great joy in the Muslim community. Al-Furqan facilitates marriage introduction and also the solemnisation of an Islamic contract of marriage. The newly-married couple is provided with an official "Nikah" certificate to show they have been married according to Islamic Law.

Swimming: (note that this service is not offered at the moment, we hope to start it soon, inshallah)

Male boys and male adults only. Young boys have to be supervised by a guardian.

Appropriate swimwear covering the navel to the knee is required.

Note: There are also facilities for sauna, steamroom and SPA pool.
