Brother Saleem Akhtar (whom many would remember as one of the famous Naat Khwan in Glasgow), a member of UKIM and owner of the Shah Noor restaurant, Berkeley Street, passed away today at approximately 6 PM. May Allah forgive his sins, elevate his ranks with Him in Jannah and grant patience to his family, and enable us to prepare for this inevitible event of our lives, Ameen.

Brothers and sisters are requested to keep him in their special Duaas please.

It is expected that the Janazah prayer will be on Friday, 11th January after the Jummah prayer, but please confirm first with Glasgow Central Mosque (429 3132), Al-Furqan Mosque (331 1119/332 2811), Imam Mustaqeem or Brother Ishaq.
