Mission is a nationwide organisation with over 40 branches and Islamic Centres working all over British Isles. It has nationwide membership and a three tier programme consists of Da'wah i.e. Invitation towards Islam, Educating Community and Relief & Welfare for the needy.

The basic purpose of the Mission as indicated by its name is to convey the message of Islam in this country. This is the purpose that we have given top priority in our programmes. Thus we have established mosques and Islamic centres as well as madaras and libraries in major cities. These activities carried on by all our branches are centred on disseminating the Islamic teachings and thought, as it is the duty of every Muslim to pass on the message of Islam to others.

UK Islamic Mission is a registered charity, which offers a range of services including welfare and relief to individuals and communities. Donations and contributions are received and spent to help the less fortunate in society. UK Islamic Mission workers are engaged in providing funds to relieve the miseries of those caught up in wars and natural disasters like, famine, floods and earthquakes all over he world. Again we realise that as a Muslim we are duty bound to help others in their needs. Our workers also visit jails and hospitals and care for those who happen to be in isolation and affliction.

Educating Muslim children in learning to read the Holy Qur’an and instructing them in the basic Islamic teachings and values is one of the very important task which the Mission is undertaking in all its mosques. There are over four thousand children receiving this education and thus ensuring that Islamic culture and identity is passed on to the next generation.
